Food Manufacturing

We deliver Food Manufacturing Apprenticeships in factories within Norfolk and Suffolk. You will work with employees receiving on-the-job training. Our experienced tutors will visit you monthly to accompany the study side of the Apprenticeship training and boosting your skills and knowledge. Our tutors will also set tasks via an online portfolio for the you to complete in-between visits.

The Apprenticeship will be tailored specifically to the type of food and drink manufacturing environment you are working in. You will be completing tasks including the importance of standard operating procedures, food safety and HACCP, product quality, health, safety and environmental standards, product changeovers and task handovers, continuous improvement and measuring performance of processes.

Following completion of the Food Manufacturing Apprenticeship there are opportunities to progress into a more senior role within the company such as team leader or supervisor.

Food and Drink Process Operator

The Apprenticeship will include the following:

• Level 2 Diploma in Food and Drink Operations
• Level 1 Functional Skills in English and Maths (if required)

To complete the Apprenticeship an End Point Assessment will be carried out by an independent assessor. Your tutor will ensure that you are ready for assessment.
